Associated Luxury Hotels International is a global sales organization for luxury hotels, resorts, cruise lines, and destination-management companies. ALHI dates the work to 1986. The public FAQ places headquarters in Dallas, with nearly 80 sales people and 26 offices across North America and Europe. One call connects a meeting planner to a membership of more than 250 properties.

ALHI's own FAQ says the organization is funded by member dues and that the service sits at no cost to the planner. A dedicated sales person manages the RFP, recommends fits by program goals and budget, and stays on the file through contract. The member list published for planners includes Austin houses such as Fairmont Austin, Hotel Van Zandt, and Omni Barton Creek Resort and Spa.

This Austin cut is a planner tasting at Delysia Chocolatier. Hotel sales teams hire a short film when a tasting room has to prove the host city as much as the member hotel.

Who Hired The Camera

The culinary center as it ran. Film still at 0:19.
A tighter look at the display. Film still at 0:23.

Planner nights live or die on the host city. ALHI's line on the banner is Experience Is Everything. The brief was that line in an Austin kitchen, not a ballroom drape.

The Erin Condren ALHI night is a different film. This cut is the Delysia room.

Delysia And The Tasting Table

Delysia is an artisan chocolate company in Austin. Chef-owner Nicole Patel's Culinary Center and boutique sit at 2000 Windy Terrace, Suite 2C. Patel started the work as an engineer making truffles after hours. The shop's own pages say the culinary center is both production kitchen and a room for education, pairings, and small events.

The buffet as it moved. Film still at 0:38.

On camera an ALHI Global Luxury Sales banner stands left of a white display table. The banner shows a resort pool and ALHI.COM. Behind the table a red wall reads Delysia Chocolatier in raised white type under two globe pendants. Roses, folded shirts, an apron, and small white chocolate boxes sit on the cloth.

A later hold sits on triangular spinach quiche, a beet plate, and a tented menu card. The stills are frames from that tasting: the banner, the red wall, and the buffet.

The room around the tasting. Film still at 0:46.

What The Film Delivers

A host-city film has to make a planner want the next night. Chocolate, a printed banner, and a working culinary center do that work in one pass.

A last interior hold. Film still at 0:54.
Closing frames from Delysia. Film still at 0:59.
