Brand Recap
Dell At Retail. The 5th Annual Product Showcase, March 8 To 10, 2016.
Film by Adam Grumbo
The card on this film reads Dell@Retail, 5th Annual Product Showcase, March 8-10, 2016. It is powered by Dell, Intel, and Microsoft. An Austin skyline sits on the blue field. The recap follows the set from empty arena floor to a working product showcase.
Michael Dell founded Dell in 1984 in Austin. Headquarters later sat in Round Rock. Dell bought Alienware, the gaming line on these walls, in 2006. Windows 10 had shipped in July 2015, so the 2016 floor could still carry that mark.
BMF, writing about a multi-year Dell partnership, named Dell@Retail as Dell's dedicated global retail event and said it had produced five consecutive Dell@Retail programs. This cut is the 2016 showcase as the crew built it and as partners walked it.
Who Hired The Camera
A retail showcase hires a recap so the build, the floor, and the talks can travel after the three days close. The brief here was Dell@Retail 2016: Alienware, the laptops, and the people on the set.

A blue Genie lift sits beside unfinished flats. From the seats, Alienware letters read on a black wall. Hex panels glow around the alien-head mark. A laptop on a white riser carries the line Connect matters most, with Intel on the same sign and Dungeon Defenders II on a nearby screen.
A later laptop reads Shop the products that fit your needs, with easy customization and flexible options. Patrick Moorhead, labeled a tech industry analyst, sits with Neil Hand for Third Wave Compute. Nathan Huber is labeled co-founder of 3D Live. An Intel table glows under bottles at the mixer.
What The Film Delivers
A product showcase has to show the empty room becoming a floor partners can walk. Retail and brand teams hire us when a three-day set needs a recap that still reads after load-out.
