Dosh was an Austin cash-back app. Founded in 2016, it went to public beta in April 2017. Users linked a debit or credit card, then earned cash back at merchants when they shopped, dined, or booked travel. CB Insights later listed the company at 13501 Galleria Circle, Suite 300, Austin, Texas 78738.

Ryan Wuerch founded the company and served as CEO. Cardlytics, in an announcement dated March 1, 2021, said it planned to acquire Dosh for $275 million in cash and stock. That release called Dosh a cash-back offers platform that also sold its technology to financial institutions and fintech partners.

This recruiting brand film is the hire-era company: an aerial of a limestone office block, then the people and rooms around that story. Teams use a cut like this when candidates need to see the building and the floor before they take a call.

Who Hired The Camera

Growing consumer apps hire a recruiting film when the office has to do some of the selling. A short piece people can forward is cheaper than a campus tour for every candidate.

The brief here was Dosh as a working team. The opening still looks down on a three-story block: light stone on the lower floors, gray metal and glass above, a curved street with red curbs, a small lot, and hills on the horizon. Later holds sit with people in the rooms.

A tighter brand hold. Film still at 1:30.

What The Day Was For

Dosh's product was transaction-based advertising dressed as cash back. Merchants paid to reach cardholders. Users saw an offer, then got a credit after a qualifying purchase. The 2021 Cardlytics note also named Venmo, Betterment, and Ellevest among partners that could put the platform in their own apps.

The film stays with the Austin rooms. The acquisition is a later public fact about the same company. The stills are frames from the recruiting cut.

What The Film Delivers

A recruiting brand film has to make a building and a team feel walkable. Hire us for the same kind of office story in Austin and Central Texas.
