The City of Hutto hosted a family block party on Friday, May 26, 2023, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Co-Op District, 420 U.S. 79. Community Impact and the Taylor Press listed food trucks, vendors, kids activities, and live music, with the Peterson Brothers and the Teddy Long Band on the bill. Admission was free.

The same evening, Richard A. Oman American Legion Post 302 held a remembrance ceremony at Fritz Park, 400 Park Street, for service members killed in action. This film is titled Hutto Block Party 2023. It is a two-minute recap of that civic night.
