Jess Root is a music film by Adam Grumbo. The Vimeo file on this page is 398968361. The cut opens from the air: a white Jeep on a two-lane coast road, palms on one side, a beach and small surf on the other, long shadows at golden hour.
Later portraits sit in warm stone light, a woman in a cream headband smiling with her eyes closed. The film then moves indoors to a club floor, two dancers in a white dress and a black one-shoulder dress meeting palms under neon strips, lounge seats around the wood.
