Portland Municipal Park, the 13-acre park at 1815 Memorial Parkway, was built in 1968. The Caller-Times photographed the December 21, 2016 groundbreaking for the Hellas job on that site.
City materials listed five baseball fields that could take softball and soccer, a covered playground with splash pad, a covered basketball court, a walking track, concessions, shade, and Hellas artificial turf with dugouts, sports lighting, covered seating, batting cages, and scoreboards.
Hellas and the city finished the two-park bond under a $16,567,446.25 guaranteed maximum price, with a substantial-completion date of September 15, 2017. This film stays with Municipal Park.
